Product Description

Product Description

ZERUST® VCI Poly Tubing diffuses invisible, odorless, and non-toxic Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor Technology (VCI). As a result, these VCI molecules settle onto exposed metal surfaces inside the packaging or enclosure. Once removed from the poly tubing, the VCI will dissipate from the metal surface, allowing immediate painting, welding, or further processing.

The customizable length of the poly tubing offers a tailored packaging solution for parts of various sizes or long metal assets that protect from rust and corrosion for years. Additionally, for added protection in challenging environments, ZERUST® VCI Tubing may be used with ZERUST® rust inhibitors, preventatives, coatings, or VCI diffuser products. Furthermore, engineered for a broad range of applications, ICT®510-C VCI Poly Tubing is available in ferrous, non-ferrous, and multimetal formulations, ensuring an ideal packaging solution. In addition, custom options such as UV stabilizers, acid-gas blockers, anti-block, slip, and anti-static additives are available to meet specific protection requirements. Whether in storage or transit, ZERUST® ICT®510-C VCI Tubing delivers unparalleled performance.

VCI Tubing Size Range (width): 2” – 125”

* Due to the nature of film blowing/extruding, it’s possible that VCI Tubing sizes may vary in size by +/- 10%. As a result, ZERUST® recommends requesting samples in order to confirm all dimensions prior to placing an order. Additonally, the max part diameter may also vary due to the nature of your part (metal finish (rough/smooth), shape (sharp edges), and rust preventatives/coatings).
