Zerust® ICT® VCI Paper is a high-quality kraft paper that is saturated on both sides with Zerust® corrosion inhibitors. The product integrates packaging materials with powerful vapor corrosion inhibitors for ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, and multimetal parts.
Zerust® ICT®420-35P is a polyethylene coated VCI kraft paper with proprietary Zerust® ICT® formulations contained within the polyethylene coating (coating on one side of sheet only).
Zerust® ICT®427 VCI Packaging Paper is formulated to provide more robust corrosion protection for demanding situations—such as high-humidity and for challenging metal parts. Use Zerust® VCI Paper in interleaving applications and to wrap and protect metals in shipment or storage.
Zerust® ICT® Poly Coated Reinforced VCI Paper is a high-quality 35# kraft paper that is saturated on one side with proven Zerust® corrosion inhibitors and laminated with a 3/4 mil polyethylene layer and fiberglass scrim on the back side to provide superior strength.
Zerust® ICT®432-35P is a kraft packaging paper containing Zerust® Vapor Corrosion Inhibitors (VCIs) coated with a plain polyethylene layer (coating on one side of sheet only).
Zerust®/Excor® Crepe Paper is a high-quality kraft paper that is saturated on both sides with proven Zerust® corrosion inhibitors. The product integrates packaging materials with powerful Vapor Corrosion Inhibitors (VCIs) for ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, and multimetal parts.
VCI Paper, or Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor paper, is a kraft packaging paper manufactured with added VCI chemistry. VCI molecules protect metals from corrosion by forming a thin, invisible layer on the surface.
This layer inhibits the corrosion process caused by oxygen, water and contaminants. Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor paper can be made in different sizes, weights, and inhibitor types.
It can be ordered in rolls, pre-cut, and with custom printing. VCI paper is typically a kraft material but can be reinforced with a poly layer or scrim like threads for additional protective properties.
VCI Paper is sometimes referred to as “rust inhibitor paper”.
VCI Paper, or Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor, paper emits molecules that settle on metal surfaces and form an invisible layer that protects from corrosion. It protects by interrupting the electrochemical corrosion process caused by moisture, oxygen and contaminants in the atmosphere.

When using Zerust® VCI Paper products, your clean metals will be protected for years when used correctly and utilized within one year from date of shipment. Most other Zerust®/Excor® VCI products have a shelf life of up to three years when the product is stored in original airtight packaging, out of direct sunlight and under shelter. Please refer to each product technical datasheet for the correct shelf life.
