ZERUST® Vapor Capsules

ZERUST®/EXCOR® Vapor Capsules are portable capsules containing proven ZERUST® Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor Technology (VCI). They protect metals in hard-to-reach areas of control panels, electrical cabinets, as well as other enclosed spaces from corrosion, even when they are in operation. Additionally, these VCI emitter diffusers are used as a supplement to other ZERUST® VCI packaging products for added protection.

  • Safe and effective corrosion protection where traditional anti-corrosion methods can not be used
  • Easy to install, as well as economical to use
  • Does not affect the circuit boards or sensitive components
  • Suitable for new equipment, as well as to protect the reliability of existing equipment
Product Description

Product Description

These VCI emitter diffusers are quick and easy to install. Simply peel back the protective paper from the tape and install the Vapor Capsule in the desired location. Next, tightly seal the enclosure to trap protective vapor inside.

ZERUST® Vapor Capsules diffuse invisible, odorless, and non-toxic ZERUST® Vapor Corrosion Inhibitors. As a result, these VCI molecules settle onto exposed metal surfaces inside the packaging or enclosure. Once removed, the VCI will dissipate from the metal surfaces, allowing immediate painting, welding, or further processing. Furthermore, Vapor Capsule VCI emitter diffusers protect multiple metal types from rust and tarnish for up to 1 or 2 years, depending on the capsule model, in a sealed enclosure.
