Use a steel immersion tank and circulation system for holding the Axxanol™ A35-8030 solution. It is recommended that the immersion tank floor be tapered to allow for the collection and easy drainage of the accumulated water from the tank. In addition, the tank should contain a sight glass on the wall for easy assessment of the water level in the tank and a drain valve at the bottom for water drainage purposes. Plastic and poly-lined tanks should be avoided.

Use Axxanol™ A35-8030 long-term rust preventative oil to protect metal components, machined and cast parts, engines, molds, and more for up to 3 years‡ during shipment, storage, and work-in-progress. After application, place parts into ZERUST® Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) film packaging products for a more robust solution that protects for years‡ during indoor storage or challenging shipping conditions, such as ocean freight.
The long-term rust preventative oil can be customized to different colors or with a UV tracer to match customer requirements. Additionally, if parts or components require further processing, the coating is easily removed from the metal surface with the use of a compatible ZERUST® AxxaWash™ product, commercial alkaline, or solvent cleaner. Lastly, Axxanol™ A35-8030 does not intentionally contain barium or heavy metals and complies with Global Automotive Declarable Substance, TSCA, RoHS, and REACH SVHC requirements.
