Machine shops, metal assembly operations, and finishing companies use stackable plastic totes for temporary storage of oil-coated metal parts. These are usually processed and shipped within days, but there are exceptions that extend this to weeks or even months. The atmosphere in most shops is dusty, smoky, and humid - not ideal for storing metal parts. And, while oil is generally a good rust preventative, it attracts dust and dirt forming a layer of contamination on the surface of the part.

The Zerust^® ICT™ Tote Cover can prevent this problem by providing both corrosion prevention and barrier protection against dirt, dust, smoke and other contaminants. Designed to cover most common sizes of plastic, stackable totes, this new product is made of Zerust^® ICT™510-CLHD Film, which is specially blended to maximize strength and corrosion protection yet remain lightweight. The elastic bottom provides a secure fit and is designed for re-use. Since Zerust^® ICT™ Tote Covers are made of transparent ICT™510-CLHD Film, parts and components remain visible for easy identification and inspection.
